Reservation List & Puppy Adoption Process

1. Fill out our online Puppy Application
The completion of this form will help us get to know you and what you are looking for in a puppy.  Once we receive it, we will email you back or give you a call, usually within 24 hours.  If after we talk and we both feel that a puppy from Great Bridge is a good fit for you, you will then pay your reservation fee. If you don’t hear back from us by 48 hours, please feel free to reach back out to us!

2. Send in a non-refundable reservation fee of $400 towards the price of your puppy
Your reservation fee reserves your spot on the litter of your choice. Reservation fees are put towards the total purchase price of your puppy & are non-refundable.

3. Litter Announcement. When your litter is born we will reach out to the families on the litter and post on our socail media pages. Please know that when you are on any of our litters, your family will need to be willing to welcome any puppy in the litter, regardless of gender or markings, as they are match based on temperament around 7 weeks old. Your reservation fee is good for 2 years of date it was received.

4. Send in the remaining balance
When your puppy is 6 weeks old, the remaining balance of $2800 is due.

5. Puppy picks When your litter is born, we won’t be able to tell you which puppy is your puppy. Around when the pups are 6 weeks old, we will send you a questionnaire to fill out. This will help us with the matching process. After the puppies have been seen by our vet, around 7 weeks old, we start to match puppies with families based on temperament first and then try to honor your preferences. We don’t place puppies based on gender, coat color, or markings.

6. Pick up your puppy at 8 weeks old! We are located in Chesapeake, VA which is in the southeast corner of Virginia (next to Virginia Beach). We prefer to have you personally come and pick up your puppy but realize this isn’t always possible. Please contact us to set up an alternate way of getting your puppy.

• If you choose to fly your puppy to you, we will be happy to help connect you with a flight nanny service. Your puppy will travel accompanied in cabin and then personally handed to you at your airport. When you choose this service, your puppy will be cared for along the way and never be left alone. This fee is in addition to the puppy purchase.

• If you choose to fly here to pick up your puppy yourself, you will be flying into Norfolk International Airport (ORF). We are happy to meet you at the airport with your puppy.

Your puppy come with:

• A 2-year genetic health warranty (this warranty covers any inherited life-threatening disease)

• Vet checked with current vaccinations and worming

• Microchip

• Puppy certificate for registration through WALA, and/or ALAA (once proof of spay/neuter is received at 8 months old*)

• 30 Day trial Pet Insurance from Trupanion (you must activate it within 24 hours of picking up your puppy)

• Puppy goody bag (leash, collar, and a few toys) & a small blanket with the mom & littermates scent.

• A lifetime of continued support for your puppy

*All Great Bridge Labradoodles companion puppies are sold under a strict spay/neuter contract and must be spayed/neutered by 8 months old.
